West Bay 31' Cabin Cruiser:

Our WB 31' design is a Classic Lobster work boat. We transitioned this seaworthy vessel into a pleasure yacht hence, the name "Lobster Yacht".

Modifications to its keel design, weight distribution and engine placement have resulted in an improvement to the overall performance in compliance with today's boating needs.

Therefore, we are able to offer both the experience and nostalgia of 'Days Past', together with the comforts of modern day boating.

West Bay 31' Sport Cruiser:

The West Bay 31 Sport Cruiser is based upon a working lobster boat designed by Richard Alley. She is a fully self-sufficient off-shore vessel with all the amenities to provide for either a couple or small family with live aboard comfort.

While she has a true semi-displacement hull for efficient low speed operation, she is also capable of 30 knots or more on a full plane. The deep forward sections combined with a full keel allow safe, long range, coastal cruising in a vessel that is easy to maintain and operate. Each West Bay 31 can have cockpit and interior arrangements to suit the owners needs.

Visit our "WB 31 Photo Gallery" page that showcases our custom built boats for Sport fishing, Island Hopping and/or for running a Six-Pack (Charter) boat. We've provided a link below to view an owner's 31' boat that he hires out for charter. http://www.blackdogofrye.com/index.html
